Lipari is the largest of the Aeolian Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the northern coast of Sicily, southern Italy; it is also the name of the island's main town.
Because of the volcanic inheritance, the beaches are made up of obsidian rocks and pumice stone.
This one particular day, the currents brought to shore and abundance of pumice stone........so I decide to get creative.
I was born in Rome, Italy. Art has intrigued me as far back as I can remember. My first experience in painting began with the use of watercolors. My paintings have been admired for their loose and fluid strokes, thus creating works that are organic and expressive. I describe myself as an emotional painter. Painting fuels my soul. I love to experiment with different mediums and I welcome new challenges. I have exhibited in numerous art shows in Manhattan, Staten Island, Brooklyn, upstate New York and New Jersey.
