I snapped this great shot of my friend Mary and was thinking of doing a watercolor. Until last minute, I decided to do it in one of my favorite medium, watercolor collage. In creating the fragmented image I tried to captures her likeness and beautiful smile.

I love how you did this collage, Mafalda! I've been fantasizing about doing something that is a collage of watercolor pieces to form a larger image and haven't settled my tiny mind on what I want to do. Seeing how this turned out makes me even more determined to try it! Saw this in Laurel's contest blog discussion and had to stop by. L/F

I pleases to know that you like collages. They are one of my favorite medium to work with. I encourage you to try it. Because they're very creative and liberating to do. I haven't done many because they do require more time than the conventional mediums. Please share with me when you complete one.....have fun!!
